About Our Community
For ten years now, scattered organizations around the world have been working to develop open, fair, and just cultures that are supportive of system safety by facilitating open communication within the organization, while working within a system of accountability that supports safe behavioral choices among staff.
As the father of Just Culture and a founder of this community, David Marx has been helping organizations along this journey. As a system safety engineer with a juris doctor in law, David has dedicated his professional work to bring safety science and law together to help both safety/risk managers, human resource managers, and line managers in working together to improve operational safety and performance.
Our community was formed with the help of our partners in healthcare and aviation who desired to be part of a community, and to combine resources to allow for the development of increasing better methods and tools. Through the community, we are able to bring these tools to organizations as large as an airline, to as small as an independent nursing facility.
Our members today come from all walks of life - from healthcare to aviation, from rail to regulator. As a member of the community you receive the quarterly newsletter, and the option of purchasing online training and access to the Interactive Algorithm.
